ANDROID BETA / 3.4.44
A calmer home.
A clearer focus.
This is a beta APK for Android 8.0 or later. It is not a Google Play production release.
What's changed
- Adult sites use their own block reason. Blocking no longer automatically opens YouTube.
- Shorts detection checks visible controls on the actual YouTube screen.
- Local backups now include app limits and usage counters.
- The monitoring badge checks service connection, consent and Usage access.
- Setup remembers consent. Channel filtering checks public creator metadata for direct browser video links.
- A new open-book icon represents learning and sustained attention.
Installing the beta
- Export a backup from your current app.
- Download the APK below and open it on your Android phone.
- If Android asks, allow installation from the browser or Files app you chose. You can turn that permission off afterward.
- Install the update, open LOCKIN and review monitoring permissions.
The download here is the regular Play-candidate edition. The personal edition is a separate application and is not distributed by this website. An update must use the same application ID and signing certificate as your existing installation.
Before you rely on it
Test alarms on your own phone before using them for an important wake-up. Blocking depends on permissions, a running Accessibility service, supported browser address fields and the current YouTube interface. It is not a device-wide adult-content filter or an uninstall-proof system. With a blocked-channel list active, browser videos whose creator cannot be verified are blocked until a retry succeeds.
